The Pilbara Ports Authority sought a contractor capable of relocating a section of sea wall and executing land-based dredging within an active port environment. The Solution
Norwest Group mobilised an excavator-mounted dredge head and GPS-enabled earthmoving equipment to undertake the dredging and relocation works. Our internal logistics team supplied all required materials, while our experienced operators managed daily coordination with port authorities to work within the live operational zone. We implemented environmental controls and daily site monitoring to mitigate impact on adjacent marine areas. Drawing on our local knowledge and equipment availability, we staged the works to meet access windows and delivery milestones.
The Result
The sea wall and dredging works were completed within the allocated timeframe and budget. The outcomes included improved port functionality and protection of surrounding infrastructure.
