Subdivision Development for Government Land

The Challenge

Development WA required full-scale civil works for a residential land release, including road construction, drainage systems and service corridors. The remote location posed logistical challenges and a strict delivery schedule was enforced due to funding and planning milestones. High standards of compliance and communication were also required, as the works had to align with government protocols, community engagement plans and multi-stakeholder timelines.

The Solution

Norwest Group mobilised its in-house fleet and resources to ensure delivery certainty. GPS-enabled equipment delivered precise trenching and road formation, while our site crew maintained close coordination with planners, surveyors and local government stakeholders. In-house material supply reduced risk and daily reporting kept the project aligned with programme milestones. We integrated site supervision and traffic control to ensure safety and continuity throughout.

The Result

The subdivision works were completed to spec, on time and with full compliance. Civil infrastructure was handed over ready for construction commencement ahead of schedule. This success reinforced Norwest Group’s ability to deliver public infrastructure works within the expectations of government partners. The project also strengthened our standing on the Development WA panel and demonstrated our full-scope capability in land development environments.
